Not been up around the Lough Atorick area ever, and had a day to spare. The TE300 is going in for an engine rebuild soon so took her out on one last spin before the maintenance.
For a first day in a new area I covered about half of the tracks I’d previously identified as worth exploring on the computer. Half of the tracks came to about 60kms. It was 95% forest trail with just a little of the rough stuff, but I’m convinced we could’ve mapped decent singletrack if there was more than just me.
Solo spins aren’t really ideal for mapping out new singletracks or anything moderately difficult so I used the noggin and kept it safe.
Had the GM1 and a small 42.5mm f1.7 lens with me, so shot a few really short clips that I then looped together.
